Scream, let them hear you

It was too quiet to be alive, Lydia thought as she walked the trail. She was cold, alone and scared out of her wits. She couldn’t even hear Scott roaring and the omega growling she was too caught up in the silence of her head. Then it started, the buzzing, the noise; softly, slowly it grew, louder and louder until all she could do was fall to her knees and scream.
